Overview

Awairo is a next-generation music unit under KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO, composed of producer Yunosuke and vocalist WaMi. Their music merges sweet, emotionally charged melodies with EDM elements to express a delicate and wistful emotional world.

The unit released their first album “Gradient” in January 2025 and held a release party to celebrate. In February 2025, they followed up with the single “Bloonune.” Through appearances at KAMITSUBAKI WARS 2024 Yokohama, KAMITSUBAKI FES ‘24, and a 2MAN LIVE with Azusagawa, Awairo has steadily expanded their presence within the Kamitsubaki ecosystem.

Role and Creative Position

At the core of Awairo’s music is the fusion of sensitivity and electronics. Yunosuke excels at building electronic soundscapes that trace the contours of emotional movement, while WaMi brings a soft yet penetrating vocal quality that adds human warmth to each track. The chemistry between the two allows Awairo’s music to retain the groove of EDM while preserving the emotional resonance of pop songwriting.
