Overview

Musical Isotope (音楽的同位体) is an AI vocal synthesis software project born from the voices of KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO’s virtual singers. Positioned as a “creative partner,” it aims to expand possibilities for creators through user-generated content (UGC).

Guided by the philosophy that “UGC enriches the world,” the project provides creators with new means of expression. Each individual AI voice model (KAFU, SEKAI, etc.) has its own dedicated entry in the wiki.

Concept and Role

Musical Isotope takes the voices of existing KAMITSUBAKI virtual singers and makes them synthesizable through AI technology, enabling broader participation in music production. Rather than converting a creator’s own voice into a model, the project opens up the voices of KAMITSUBAKI-affiliated singers as “isotopes,” establishing a new creative ecosystem built on shared vocal resources.

This approach fosters a community where fans and independent creators can produce professional-sounding music using the distinctive vocal identities of Kamitsubaki’s artists, while the original singers retain their artistic identity.
