Introduction

SINSEKAI STUDIO is a creative label jointly established by three companies: THINKR, Bandai Namco Filmworks, and pulse.

THINKR: Brings together numerous creators and artists in diverse forms, dedicated to building a creative studio that unlocks limitless potential for talent. Bandai Namco Visual Entertainment: Specializes in creating highly captivating IPs, discovering and nurturing talents, and providing comprehensive, multi-dimensional production services covering video, music, live performances, and more. pulse: Committed to building the virtual world “INSPIX WORLD” and continuously pushing the boundaries of next-generation virtual content creation.

At SINSEKAI STUDIO, three companies are collaborating closely under the keyword #SINSEKAI, seamlessly integrating their respective technologies. SINSEKAI will focus on two core areas: “the production of virtual artists and internet-native artists” and “an XR experience that blends the expertise of all three companies to achieve a seamless convergence of the virtual and real worlds,” challenging itself to create entirely new entertainment experiences.

SINSEKAI STUDIO will break free from the constraints of a single organizational framework and, as a “team” united by a shared theme, create something entirely new and uniquely distinctive.

Development History

  • June 20, 2021: Kamitsubaki Studio announced the spin-off project “SINSEKAI CITY PROJECT.” The key themes of the SINSEKAI universe are “chaos” and “exploration.” The story is set in “Fukushikai City,” a place that lies close yet tantalizingly out of reach from “Kamitsubaki City.” At the same time, the project unveiled content related to ARU.
  • August 21, 2021: SINSEKAI STUDIO was officially announced. On the same day, ASU made her first public appearance, and Fukushikai Studio officially began operations.
  • November 23, 2021: VALIS’s “Act One” phase concluded, and it was announced that VALIS would be transferring to Fukushikai Studio.
  • July 2, 2022: ARU and ASU, under the duo name Albemuth, released their first original song, 「新世界へ」(To a New World).
  • November 1, 2022: 梓川(Azukigawa) officially joined SINSEKAI STUDIO and released her debut single, 「告赤」(kokuseki) on the same day.
  • November 18, 2022: The duo “Amayadori,” composed of Mizuno Atsu and Sooda, announced their joining of SINSEKAI STUDIO.
  • November 19, 2022: The musical duo Albemuth was officially announced, consisting of ARU and ASU, described as “music born from Sinsekai Studio, created by two distinctly different personalities.”
  • March 31, 2023: SINSEKAI STUDIO was officially reorganized and renamed SINSEKAI RECORD, becoming a sub-label under KAMITSUBAKI LABEL.
  • April 6, 2023: Shido officially debuted.
  • February 5, 2024: An official announcement was made stating that ARU would conclude her activities after her solo concert on April 9, marking the disbandment of Albemuth.
  • April 9, 2024: Albemuth held their 1st ONE-MAN LIVE “Crime and Paradise,” where ARU officially graduated and the group Albemuth disbanded. Their final original song,ss「舟」(Hana), was released on the same day.
  • August 8, 2024: KAMITSUBAKI FES ‘24 “THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL” was held at the Yokohama International Peace Conference Hall. Artists from SINSEKAI RECORD performed alongside artists from Kamitsubaki Headquarters.
  • April 30, 2025: The new virtual singer BEMA officially debuted, uploading her first video, 「琶舞 Op.1 - はじめまして。」(Bema Op.1 - Nice to meet you).
  • May 5, 2025: An official announcement was made confirming that ASU and BEMA would form a new duo centered around the theme of “love”.
  • May 7, 2025: The music video for ASU and BEMA’s original song, “Symbiotic Dominion,” was released.

Virtual singer

  • ASU

    A next-generation virtual singer from SINSEKAI, a derivative universe of the Kamitsubaki worldview. Her character design was created by the renowned illustrator Yoneyama Mai. ASU possesses an innate sense of rhythm and an unpredictable vocal style. She is innocent and carefree by nature, preferring to act on intuition rather than overthink things. She officially debuted on August 23, 2021, and is currently one of the core virtual singers of SINSEKAI.

  • BEMA

    A newly debuted virtual singer who officially launched on April 30, 2025. Her character design was also handled by Yoneyama Mai, featuring a motif of crosses and black lilies. If ASU symbolizes “light,” BEMA is positioned as the embodiment of “darkness,” using her clear voice to depict a dark world. Currently, she is active as part of a new duo with ASU, themed around “love.”

  • Azusagawa

    A virtual singer under SINSEKAI. She released her debut solo album, Tanshi, in June 2025 via SINSEKAI RECORD, featuring a total of 12 tracks.

  • Sooda

    A singer-songwriter, a member of the duo Ameyadori, and an artist under SINSEKAI CITY.

  • MIMI

    A Vocaloid producer and music creator who writes and composes songs for artists under the Kamitsubaki label.

  • Toa

    A music producer and arranger.

  • Shido

    A web singer and singer-songwriter under SINSEKAI RECORD, known for her guitar-based performances.

  • Yunosuke

    A well-known EDM-style sound creator and arranger.

  • Ameyadori

    A musical duo formed in November 2022 by two SINSEKAI singer-songwriters, Mizuno Atsu and Sooda. The group’s name conveys the feeling of quietly taking shelter from the hardships of daily life, aiming to offer comfort through music. Within their musical universe, there is also a girl named Ame, born from the duo’s imagination, who serves as a gentle presence close to the listeners’ hearts.

  • VALIS

    A virtual idol group under SINSEKAI, consisting of Chino, Myu, Neffy, Nina, Rara, and Vitte. The group officially joined the SINSEKAI STUDIO system in November 2021 and continues to be active in music and stage performances within the SINSEKAI ecosystem.

  • Awairo

    A new group announced to debut in October 2023, featuring members such as Yunosuke, Singer, and WaMi. It is a key musical act introduced during SINSEKAI’s expansion phase.
