Introduction
KYOKAI STUDIO is a music studio under THINKR, officially established on September 5, 2026 in the form of a spin-off from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO as part of THINKR’s studio reorganization. The studio works with “artists who keep exploring their own boundaries” and pursues solid and free music.
Under THINKR’s new architecture, KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO will focus on the virtual domain, while the roster of real-life artists and creators who were active on the internet is carried over mainly by KYOKAI STUDIO. Within THINKR’s “MUSIC & EXPERIENCE” division, KYOKAI STUDIO sits alongside KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO and ALLT STUDIO.
The official website (kyokaistudio.jp) went live ahead of the announcement, in late August 2026, publishing the studio’s artist / creator roster.
History
- Late August 2026: The official website (kyokaistudio.jp) goes live, revealing the studio’s artist / creator roster and works.
- September 5, 2026: THINKR announces its studio reorganization, formally establishing KYOKAI STUDIO as a spin-off from KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO. The same day, the website opens “KYOKAI STUDIO AUDITION” to recruit next-generation artists.
- September 2026: Multiple artists and creators formerly under the KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO system (ANARCHIC RECORD, SINSEKAI RECORD, CREATOR FARM, etc.) are confirmed to have transferred.
